CrossFit Level 1 Certified
Prenatal & Postpartum Athleticism Coach
Growing up I played team sports (soccer, lacrosse, softball) and I also danced for 14 years. Once I was older, I knew I needed to keep moving but I wasn't great at the standard gym life. I moved to a new city and joined CrossFit as a way to meet new people and instantly fell in love with the team sport atmosphere (think people all suffering together and supporting you). I grew passionate about the sport and an overall healthy lifestyle, so decided to eventually go for my CF L1, and then my Prenatal and Postpartum training as my life evolved.
I started CF at a time in my life when I moved to a new city, started a new job, and was generally starting fresh. It was a time in my life when I learned about myself as an individual and CF made me realize how strong I was.
I firmly believe everyone regardless of size, age, and gender can and should perform some kind of movement every day. No matter where you are in life, athleticism can be a part of it as long as we scale appropriately. I became Prenatal and Postpartum certified because women can and want to be athletic during these times in their lives and I want to help them along that journey.
